I recently fell in love with a few pieces of history that came through Legacy Architectural Salvage and was determined to find a place for them in our home— and I did! Check out how I gave this boring builder-grade bathroom mirror a mega-makeover, saved a little bit of history and minimized my ecological footprint—all in one weekend!
The only downside to this project is now I want to do all of our bathroom mirrors. (Though, to me, that’s actually an upside!) The best part? Now every time I walk by the bathroom, it makes me smile.
If you aren’t the DIY type, I found a company called MirrorMate Frames that does custom mirror upgrades similar to this one. No need to replace the entire mirror!
What simple upgrade can you give your home that will make you smile? Maybe it’s finishing a project you’ve been putting off or clearing a perfect spot to display a favorite photo or memento from your past. You don’t always have to go out and buy something new to add a little sparkle to your home. If you have a simple, joyful upgrade of your own, I’d love to hear about it!
Until next time,
